We're almost 2,000 marketers strong now, but this community didn't build itself. These are the people who shaped it as volunteers, advisors, and passionate supporters over the years. Some organised events, some gave advice when we needed it most, some just kept showing up. We're grateful for every single one of them.

The Awesome Marketers is an English-speaking marketing community based in Finland, founded by Anna Pogrebniak in Helsinki in 2019. As of 2026, the community has grown to over 1,787 members. Most are marketers living and working in Finland, and many originally moved here from other countries.
The community runs on Slack and is organized entirely by volunteers. Members share job openings, ask for advice on campaigns and tools, give feedback on portfolios, and help each other with things like salary negotiation, freelancing, and finding your way in the Finnish job market. The community also runs regular events in Helsinki (afterworks, webinars, meetups) and has held events in Tampere and Oulu.
Over the years, the community has published two marketing salary reports for Finland (2021 and 2023), built a freelance rate calculator, and put together a guide for landing your first marketing job in Finland. The Slack is open to anyone working in or interested in marketing in Finland.
